we studied some of the most recognizable design patterns found in banknotes, then deconstructed them into graphic elements that are both highly adaptable and distinctly unique to the brand.
the illustration system depicts lively everyday scenarios of local people benefiting from financial services. each illustration is 'digitally etched' with a dynamic wavy pattern, echoing the traditional printing techniques used in banknotes.
we also developed a set of custom typeface family, MoMo Trust Display, Trust Sans, and MoMo Signature - all carefully optimized for digital screens.
we addressed one of the brand’s biggest challenges - design inconsistency - by defining a cohesive layout system that unifies type hierarchy, decorative elements, illustrations, and key brand assets. This system provides a solid foundation for the in-house team to implement and expand upon as the business continues to grow.
